Today, I am profoundly honoured to host Peace One Day’s event on this United Nations International Day of Education 2025. This significant occasion highlights the transformative power of education and its role in shaping a peaceful and sustainable future for all.

I am deeply grateful to Jeremy Gilley MBE, the visionary founder of Peace One Day, for inviting me to take part in this incredible event. Sharing this platform with such distinguished individuals as The Duchess of York, Sarah Ferguson, and The Rt. Hon. Patricia Scotland KC, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, is truly humbling.

Together, this diverse group—spanning all ages and backgrounds—unites to amplify a shared commitment to peace and education.

Education is a passport to the future, a tool that opens doors to endless opportunities and empowers individuals to reach their fullest potential. It is a cornerstone of my advocacy as Miss International Europe 2024 and a key focus of my work aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education.

Through my journey, I have witnessed firsthand the profound impact education can have on individuals and communities. From my work with underprivileged children through the Lakshyam NGO, witnessing the work of Head Held High Foundation among others, and now to the creation of the Radical Love Music Project, I have seen how access to education fosters hope, opportunity, and transformation. This belief fuels my passion as an advocate and speaker, inspiring others to prioritise education as a pathway to peace.

Peace One Day’s mission resonates deeply with me. By using awareness, collaboration, and action to drive change, they shine a light on the power of unity and education as tools to build a better world. The International Day of Education is a vital reminder that knowledge is the foundation of understanding, and understanding is the bedrock of peace.

I invite you to join us for this impactful broadcast and to become a part of the movement advocating for universal access to education. Let’s work together to inspire change, break barriers, and ensure that every individual, no matter where they come from, has the opportunity to learn and grow.

Thank you for being a part of this journey towards a more peaceful and educated world. Together, we can make a difference—one step, one conversation, and one classroom at a time.
